Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain air-conditioned comfortableness irrespective of the change of humidity, by running and controlling a compressor or others so that when interior dry bulb temperature and interior relative humidity change, an equal comfortableness line is obtained.
CONSTITUTION: The air conditioner includes a refrigerating cycle compressing a closed circuit that is made up of the compressor 2, a condenser 3, and an expansion means 4 positioned outdoors and an evaporator 5 positioned in the room shown by a dotted frame, and the air conditioner also includes a microcomputer 10 for controlling the compressor 2 and interior and exterior fan motors 9, 8. In the microcomputer 10, data for an equi-comfort line are stored which can be determined by interior dry bulb temperature and interior absolute humidities. The interior dry bulb temperature and the interior absolute humidity are determined from the outputs of an interior temperature sensor 11 and an interior humidity sensor 12, and the compressor 2 and the fan motors 8, 9 are controlled so that said values approach to the data of an equi-comfort line.
