Abstract

PURPOSE: To effect comfortable air conditioning by detecting a dry bulb temperature and a wet bulb temperature in a room, and controlling on the base of the detected signals therefrom the cooling operation and dehumidifying operation.
CONSTITUTION: The dry bulb temperature and wet bulb temperature in the room are detected, and when the dry bulb temperature is not less than a set value, an electromagnetic valve 5 is turned off and a compressor 1 is driven so that cooling operation will be carried out, when the dry bulb temperature is not greater than the set value and the wet bulb temperature is not less than a set value, the electromagnetic valve 5 is turned on and the compressor 1 is driven so that dehumidifying operation will be carried out, and when the dry and wet bulb temperatures are both not greater than the set values, the electromagnetic valve 5 and the compressor 1 are turned off to stop the operations. Thus, as one will not feel sultriness or overcoolness due to the difference between an actual humidity and an assumed value in the room, one can enjoy comfortable air condition.
