Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain an easy-to-operate controller by using thermistors as dry-bulb and wet-bulb temperature detecting element and by performing arithmetic by microcomputer μCM for control over a heater and humidifier.
CONSTITUTION: The resistance value of dry-bulb thermistor 19 is made to balance with the bridge of resistances 10 to 13 combined and resistances 16 and 20 at a detection temperature, and the relation between the detection temperature and combination of resistances 10 to 13 is stored in ROM2 of μCM1. Similarly, wet-bulb thermistor 29 also constitutes the bridge of resistances 10 to 13, 16 and 30. Then, the temperature and humidity of μCM1 are stored in RAMs 3-1 and 3-2. The combination of resistances 10 to 13 is changed by the command of ROM2 so that the present temperature will be equal to the detection temperature and the bridges will balance, and the humidity when outputs of comparators 14 and 24 are zero are stored in RAMs 3-3 and 3-4. On the basis of this memory value, CPU4 calculates the relative humidity and when it is different with the set humidity, heater 39 and humidifier 40 are controlled via relays 33 and 34 to obtain the set temperature humidity.
