Thus output voltage e1 at the unbalanced time of bridge 1 is supplied to differential amplifier 2, and at the same time the input voltage of bridge 1 is controlled by output voltage e0 of differential amplifier 2. Resistivity R3/R4 is set so that bridge 1 may be balanced with the intrinsic resistance of body R1 corresponding to its target temperature. As a result, the output voltage of amplifier 2 becomes zero at the moment when the temperature of R1 reaches the target temperature, and the temperature of R1 is kept at the target level by the control of the self-heating current of R1.
