Abstract

PURPOSE:To effectively conduct dehumidification in a vehicle air conditioning system, by providing a dehumidifying switch for opening and closing simultaneously a first switch connected in parallel to an air-conditioning switch and a second switch connected in parallel to a variable resistor and a temperature sensing element. CONSTITUTION:Both first and second relays 21, 22 are turned-off when a dehumidifying switch 23 is turned off so that air-conditioning is carried out by on- off operation of an air-conditioning switch 5. In this stage, the switch 5 is short- circuited by the first relay 21 when the switch 23 is turned on, thereby a compressor 1 is driven so that humidification is executed. Simultaneously, a variable resistor 6b in a thermostat part 6 and a temperature sensing element 6c are also short-circuited by the second relay 22, and, therefore, the air-conditioning system is set to its full cool position for effectively performing dehumidification irrespec tive of the position of a temperature adjusting lever 7. In such a short-circuited condition, the thermostat part 6 carries out the function of a fixed thermostat set to the on-off point corresponding to the full cool condition, thereby an evaporator 2 is never freezed even if the compressor 1 is continuously driven due to, for example, the switch 23 being left to be turned on.
