The evaporator 5 constitutes a cooling cycle together with a variable capacity type compressor 7, etc. In this constitution, each detection signal of an outside air sensor 22 and an evaporator temperature sensor 25 is inputted into a control unit 20. When the outside air temperature is within a prescribed low temperature range, switching from the first control for controlling the of the compressor 7 according to the aimed blow-out air temperature to the second low temperature demist control for turning ON/OFF the compressor 7 according to the coldness of the evaporator 5 is performed.
