Abstract

PURPOSE:To automatically control the blowing direction to obtain a comfortable air conditioning space by providing a controller having a control belt of a damper which changes the wind direction, in a two-position control mode, based on a signal from a temperature detector, in an air conditioner controlled in two-position mode by the signal from a room temperaure detector. CONSTITUTION:A suction port 4 is provided on the front surfce at the lower part of an indoor unit 1 of an air conditioner containing therein a heat exchanger 2 and a blower 3, and a ventillation port 5 in the front direction is provided on the front surface of the upper part and an upward ventillation port in the upward direction is provided at the upper ceiling, the above blow-off ports 5 and 6 being opened, closed and controlled by the damper 7. The damper 7 is rotated by mean of a motor 10 controlled through a controller 9 by a temperature detector 8 provided at the inlet port 4. Upon this occation, when the control belt (D1-D2) of the damper 7 are installed inside of the inner part of the control belts (T1-T2) of a compressor, for example, and when the room temperature is low at the heating time and the blow-off temperature is low, the air is injected out upwards so as to improve the comfortability.
