Abstract

PURPOSE:To automate the cooling temperature control and to prevent an evaporator from freezing, by controlling the running of a compressor of the captioned cooler by a car interior temperature, a change in an outside air temperature within a set temperature range, and a set evaporator outlet temperature. CONSTITUTION:The composed temperature of the car interior temperature and the outside air temperature can be set within a range of T1, T2, T3 by a variable resistor 24. When the composed temperature exceeds the temperature T1, the joint resistance of car interior temperature detecting element 23 and an outside air temperature detecting element 37 becomes small , so that the positive side input of an amplifier 28 becomes high level, and when an evaporator outlet temperature element 11 exceeds the temperature T2, by the output of an amplifier 15 the amplifier 28 outputs to switch an electromagnetic clutch 6 on, and when it is below the temperature T2 the clutch 6 is switched off. When it is below the temperature T1, the clutch is turned off at a high temperature corresponding to the composed temperature. Thus by setting suitably the evaporator outlet temperature T2 to a temperature at which frosting, freezing or the like cannot occur, the evaporator is prevented from freezing and the cooling temperature control can be automated.
