Abstract

PURPOSE:To automate the cooling temperature control and to prevent an evaporator from freezing, by controlling the running of a compressor of the captioned cooler by a change in an outside air temperature within a set temperature range and by a set evaporator outlet temperature. CONSTITUTION:When the outside air temperature becomes above the set temperature that can be optionally set by a variable resistor 24, the resistance of an outside air temperature detecting element 23 falls and as a result, the positive side input of an amplifier 28 becomes high level. In this case, when an amplifier 15 outputs through an evaporator outlet temperature detecting element 11 at above a tempera- ture at which the evaporator outlet temperature corresponds to the set temperature, an amplifier 18 outputs and therefore an electromagnetic clutch 6 is turned on to run the compressor. If the outside air temperature is below the set temperature, at the evaporator outlet temperature corresponding to the set temperature the electromagnetic clutch 6 is turned off. Thus, if the evaporator outlet temperature T2 is suitably set, the evaporator is prevented from freezing, and the cooling temperature control can be automated.
