Abstract
PURPOSE:To decrease leaking magnetic fluxes in the radial direction of a winding by dividing each winding unit of a high voltage winding into winding blocks, providing tap windings between said winding blocks, and connecting these windings in series. CONSTITUTION:The high voltage winding is formed by the winding units 12A and 12B, and the center part at the axis of the winding is connected to a line terminal U and the upper and lower ends of the winding are connected to the other terminal O. The upper and the lower parts are operated in parallel. Said winding units 12A and 12B are divided into winding blocks 12A1 and 12B1 on the U terminal side and 12A2 and 12B2 on the O terminal side, respectively. Between the blocks 12A1 and 12A2 and the blocks 12B1 and 12B2, tap windings 13A and 13B are provided respectively. Said windings 13A and 13B are connected in series to the blocks 12A1 and 12B1, and connected in series to the blocks 12A2 and 12B2 via an on-load tap changer 14. In this constitution, since the difference in ampere turns in the direction of the winding height of the high and low voltage windings becomes small, the leaking magnetic fluxes in the radial direction of the winding can be reduced.
