Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve suction performance and to prevent clogging by foreign substances in such a way that without use of pump suction system of a limited suction force, floating substances are sucked by an ejector directly connected to a pump.
CONSTITUTION: Water sucked through a suction port 4c by operating a water pump 4 directly connected to a dip-type motor 4a is ejected toward a throat pipe 3c through a nozzle 3d of an ejector device 3 which is directly connected to a discharge port of the pump 4. This serves to generate strong negative pressure in a suction chamber 3a around ejecting water, to suck floating substances afloat on the water through a suction path 1e by the negative pressure, and to make reflux of only properly separated water into the original reservoir. After the mixture of water and substances is ejected outward from an ejection rubber tube 6. Flow speed of the floating substance in a suction port 1d in this case is relatively slow because the suction port 1d is installed in large diametral ring shape, in consequence, without sucking water, only the floating substance can be efficiently sucked.
