Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve the effiecincy of the suction of an ejector, by adding negative pressure generated by the rapid decrease of the volume of steam to negative pressure produced by steam injected.
CONSTITUTION: When steam is injected into diffusers 22W24 from each steam injection nozzle 25a, 26a, 27a, negative pressure is generated in each chamber body 2W4, and air currents sucked containing a steam component are absorbed from a suction pipe 9. When the air currents sucked flow into the chamber body 2 at the lowest stage and pass through a condensation portion 10, the steam component is heat exchanged by cooling water from nozzles 15 and condensed, and condensation and cooling water are discharged from a drain pipe 18. Thus, negative pressure in the chamber body 2 at the lowest stage increases and sucking force augments by the condensation of the steam component and the sudden decrease of the volume of steam. The air currents sucked reaching upper space 16a after passing through the condensation portion 10 flow into the lower space 16b of the chamber body 3 at the intermediate stage with steam from the nozzles 25a, and pass through a condensation portion 11 in the same manner as mentioned above.
