Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent an eddy flow from being produced and to improve an efficiency of separation of dust by a method wherein inlet duct is connected to a container in a tangential direction thereto, a lower part of a gas cooling chamber for use in injecting cooling water from the wall surface is projected into the upper part of the container to cause the waste gas to be circulated and ascended. CONSTITUTION:Inlet duct 1 is connected to a container 2 having a reduced pipe at its upper part in a tengential direction thereto and the pipe of a gas cooling chamber 3 is connected in such a manner as its lowe part is projected into the container 2. Nozzle 7 for injecting cooling water is connected and attached to the injection pipe 5 with being arranged at the wall of the gas cooling chamber 3 and then a pump 4 is arranged at the injection pipe 5. Duct collection duct 6 is attached to the bottom surface of the container 2. Thereby, the waste gas flowed from the inlet duct 1 is made to be circulation flow in the container 2 so as to prevent an eddy flow from being generated and at the same time a flow rate of the gas at the wall surface is increased and an efficiency of the cooling water from the nozzle 7 is improved. Under said circulation flow and the structure of the pipe in the gas cooling chamber projected into the container 2, an efficient separation of the dust contained in the waste gas may be performed.
