Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain a low cost jet type aerating system which is capable of sucking air at high rates, finely dividing bubbles and reducing noise and whose whole structure is reduced compact in size.
CONSTITUTION: When a pump P is driven by a motor 3, the liquid sucked through a suction port 2 and discharged through a discharge port 5 is jetted into an air chamber 11 through a nozzle section 10 to contact with the inner wall 12' of the linear pipe of an ejector E. Thereby, air is sucked through an air introducing pipe 14 to contact with the surface of jetted liquid. As an air passage 11' tapers, said inner wall 12' and liquid linearly contact with each other. Thereafter, liquid flows out through a diffuser with velocity energy recovered by reduction in pressure. If said ejector E and a pump P are then interconnected by a 2- of 3-dimensional bent pipe 7, the contact area of liquid with air incrases with water flow distorted so that a large quantity of finely formed bubbles can be obtained.
