Abstract

PURPOSE: To spray a mist irrespectively of the changes in water level and reduce the falling sound of water drops by a method wherein a part of an airflow guide section is slanted, and the slanted surface is provided with air vent holes to jet the fine mist therethrough.
CONSTITUTION: A part of the airflow guide cylinder 8 is slanted, and the diameter of a cylinder part for passing the airflow (a) therethrough is smaller at its inlet part. The airflow (a) entrains a coarse-particle mist 12 and waterdrops 13 as well as the mist 10 generated earlier. Since the diameter of the cylinder part increases as the outlet part is approached, the airflow (a) is decelerated so that the coarse-particle mist 12 and the waterdrops 13 fall into the cylinder part. Accordingly, the mist can be sprayed irrespectively of the changes in water level and the falling sound of the waterdrops can be reduced.
