Abstract

CONSTITUTION: Plural brands of blended ore, fine ore, limestone, quick lime, etc. are prepared as starting materials for sintering. The brands of the same material are different from each other in composition. They are stored in starting material vessels 1aWn. These materials are fed with constant feeders 2aWn controlled with computer 10 and charged into sintering machine 6 from hopper 5 through conveyors 3, 3' and drum mixers 4, 4'. Each feed is measured with a Merrick type scale. When the weighed value of the feed from a specified starting material vessel is lower, the occurrence of bridging is decided, and computer 10 instructs a vessel storing a substitute brand for the brand in the specified vessel to feed the material in an amount corresponding to the shortage.
