Abstract
PURPOSE: The titled apparatus, designed to have an effect on suppressing the stain on the spinneret surface and prevent the disturbance in a yarn guide due to the formation of low-molecular compounds, and comprising a steam generating chamber in contact with the bottom surface of a heat insulating cylinder and a steam chamber thereto.
CONSTITUTION: Water is supplied from a liquid level regulating apparatus 10 through a water supply tube 6 to a steam generating chamber 3 so as to keep the liquid level thereof constant, and the steam generating chamber 3 is heated from the water surface by the heat transfer from a heat insulating cylinder 1. Steam generated from the steam generating chamber 3 is introduced into a steam chamber 4 to become complete steam, which will be fed to shield the spinneret surface. Excess steam is accompanied by filaments 13, lowered in a yarn passage cylinder 5 and expelled from a suction apparatus 8 for low-molecular compounds.
