PURPOSE:To make compacter a unit transformer of a single-phase auto-transformer and meet advantageously with the transportation limit, by connecting in series all the series windings 1/3 divided of three unit transformers, connecting in parallel all the shunt windings and reducing the number of duct connecting each unit transformer. CONSTITUTION:Series windings 11, 12, 13 1/3 divided of unit transformers are connected in series in the order of the high voltage line side, medium voltage side and low voltage side. Likewise 1/3 divided shunt windings 21, 22, 23 are connected in parallel by a terminal on the medium voltage line side. Each unit transformer is to be contained respectively in three tanks 151, 152, 153. Each tank 151, 152 is connected by ducts 61, 71 and 81, and each tank 152, 153 is connected by ducts 62, 72 and 82. The ducts 61, 62 and 71, 72 are to be used for series connection of the windings 11, 12, 13 having a neutral point electric potential, and the parallel connection of the shunt windings 21, 22, 23 is done by means of the ducts 71, 72 and 81, 82.
