PURPOSE:To increase the impedance of a low voltage winding of a single-phase three-winding transformer by sequentially winding and containing a low voltage winding, an intermediate voltage winding and a high voltage winding in one tank and a low voltage winding, a high voltage winding and an intermediate voltage winding in the other tank. CONSTITUTION:A core 41, a low voltage winding 31, an intermediate voltage winding 21 and a high voltage winding 11 sequentially wound from inside on the core 41 are contained in one tank 51, and a core 42, a low voltage winding 32, a high voltage winding 12 and an intermediate voltage winding 22 sequentially wound from inside on the core 42 are container in the other tank 52. The high voltage windings 11, 12 and the intermediate voltage windings 21, 22 are respectively connected in series through an oil duct, and the low voltage windings 31, 32 are connected in parallel with one another. The respective windings are wound with one of the cores as main leg and the other as plural legs contained in the respective tanks and may be thus connected in parallel with each other, and the irons contained in the respective tanks may be formed in plural legs.
