Abstract

PURPOSE:To make a transformer compact and light weight by enclosing a group of a series winding and a shunt winding and another group of a tapped winding, a tertially low-voltage winding, and an exciting winding in separate tanks, respectively, thereby constituting a single-phase single-wound transformer. CONSTITUTION:A series winding 1 and a shunt winding 21, which are wound around a core 51, are enclosed in a tank 61. A tapped winding 4, a tertially low- voltage winding 3 and an exciting winding 22 are enclosed in another tank 62. The series winding 1 and the shunt winding 21 are connected in series at a medium-voltage line terminal U, and the metal-point terminal of the shunt winding 21 is connected to the tapped winding 4 in series through an oil filled duct 72. The tapped winding 4 and the exciting winding 22 for exciting the tertially low-voltage winding 3 are connected in series at the neutral point V. The other end of the exciting winding 22 is connected to the medium voltage line terminal U through an oil filled duct 71.
