Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a 1,2,3-triazole derivative which is an intermediate for a medicine, agricultural chemical, etc. in high yield, by reacting a halogenated vinyl compound as a raw material with an azide compound, and treating the reaction product with an alkali or under heating.
CONSTITUTION: A halogenated vinyl compound expressed by formula I (R is H, alkyl or aryl; X is halogen; R' is carboxyl, a functional derivative thereof, alkylcarbonyl or arylcarbonyl) as a raw material is reacted with an azide compound expressed by the formula R"-N3 (R" is aryl or alkyl), and the reaction product is then treated with an alkali or by heat to afford a 1,2,3-triazole derivative of formula II. The treatment with an alkali is carried out by using triethylamine or sodium hydroxide at room temperature for 1W2hr. The heat treatment is carried out at 80W 100°C for 1W2hr.
