Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent a sleeve ghost by scraping or stirring up a residual toner on the developing roll, after development by the jumping developing equipment which transfers a magnetic toner by image force from the magnetic brush roll to the developing roll. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic toner 6 is carried by the magnetic brush roll 1, and it is made to adhere to the surface of the developing roll 2 by image force in the developing rol opposed part B. The adhering toner 6' trajects in accordance with an electrostatic latent image in the opposed part A against the photo sensitive body 3, as the developing roll 2 rotates, and development is performed. After development has been performed, the toner on the developing roll is scraped by the elastic plastic plate or the phosphor bronze plate, etc. 7, the toner is made to adhere to the whole surface of the roll newly once again at the position of B. As for the scraping member, a brush roller, etc. can be used. Also, an uneven pattern of the toner can be removed by stirring up a residual toner layer by use of a magnet.
