Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a device which accords with a curve of luminosity in terms of the property of spectroscopic sensitivity and meets legal standards to the full by using a P-N junction type silicon photodiode of a photocell type as a light-receiving element and by improving a luminosity compensating filter therefor. CONSTITUTION:A thin silicon plate which is of N type and has resistivity of 1- 5OMEGAcm is used for the substrate 1 of the lght-receiving element of the P-N junction type silicon diode, and on the periphery of one surface thereof an N<+> region 2 is formed through vapor-phase diffusion of PClO3. This silicon photodiode 7 is constituted in such a manner that lead pins 8 thereof are fixed to an insulating stem 9 provided beforehand and that diode electrodes 5a and 5b are connected with the lead pins 8 by bonding of a metal wire 10 so as to enable taking-out of the photoelectric transducing output to the outside. In addition, the luminosity compensating filter 12 is constituted by a transparent blue glass plate whose main constituents are P2O5, Al2O3, CuCO3 and the like and by a thin CdS film. By these components the compensation of luminosity is made possible and the device is made possible to meet the legal standards sufficiently.
