Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain the soldering material used for junction of thin steel plates and so on intended specifically for reducing the production cost by bending and molding the hoop of copper or copper alloy and by causing it to involve therein one or more of soldering alloy such as Zn, Si, Ni, Ag, and Mn. CONSTITUTION:Copper or copper alloy which is main components of brass system or silver solder system soldering alloy is used and is bent and molded into a tube or a band. Next, this molded material is caused to contain one or more of soldering alloy such as Zn, Si, Ni, Ag, and Mn to obtain the objective soldering material. This soldering material is used as the filler metal in the inert gas shield arc soldering device to perform uniform soldering of a desired alloy components composition to the steel plates and so on to be joined. In production of this soldering material, the conventional dissolution process is omitted, and gradation of the yield is prevented.
