Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a high-reliability exchange system, by providing a stand-by for the service system device to perform the channel test for the faulty device independently of the normal service. CONSTITUTION:When channel control device 11 in normal service becomes faulty, stored lines 1a and 1c are switched to stand-by channel control device 10, and device 11 is disconnected from the normal service system. Divice 11 is disconnected temporarily from processing devices 31-33 by control information. Stand-by time division junctor device 20 is used to perform the channel test for the fault. Devices 11 and 20 related to the test are controlled and processed by processing device 33, and processing device 33 is disconnected from processing devices 31 and 32 and becomes independent, and the normal service which is not related to the test is performed by control processing devices 31 and 32.
