Abstract
PURPOSE:To ensure a normal call for subscribers although a fault occurs at a part of the transmission line between a remote station and a master station, by providing a time-division switch between a multiplying circuit and a multiplex separating circuit of the remote station. CONSTITUTION:A channel crossing is carried out by means of a time-divisionswitch 19 so that each 30CH multiplex signal passes through a transmission line. A 120CH multiplex signal arrives from a multiplying circuit 16 to be stored from the 0CH of a storage circuit 191 and in the order of 119CH. This stored signal is read at random at a time of necessary time slot under the control of a control circuit 192 to be delivered to a multiplex separating circuit 17. In such way, the channels are allotted (crossed) so that the multiplex signals passing through a coding/decoding circuit are decentralized to all transmission control circuits by the time-division switch. Thus if a certain transmission line has a fault, for instance, a call is possible with use of the rest transmission lines.
