Abstract
PURPOSE:To secure a communication of the minimum limit for a faulty station, by connecting automatically a specific extension decided previously to an inter-office trunk line with no intervention of an own exchange in case a fault arises and having the same handling as an extension of a normal station. CONSTITUTION:A controller CONT0 detects that an exchange EX0 becomes incapable of its working and gives an indication to a monitor signal device SV0 to send a system breakdown data to another station EX1. At the same time, the CONT0 actuates emergency changeover relays SW0 and SW1 to connect an inter- office trunk line to an emergency telephone SUB0 decided previously and via a route of an in-hand ringer INBR0-sw1-LTRK0-sw0. On the other hand, the EX1 receives the data from the SV0 through the device SV1 and relays it to the device CONT1. The CONT1 gives an indication to the control part of the EX1 to handle the inter-office trunk line as an extension.
