Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the performance of antistatic properties and of wear resistance of record discs, by moving a polyvinyl chloride resin record disc while rotating it between two rows of electrodes in an internal electrode discharge type low temperature plasma generator, for gaseous inorganic plasma processing. CONSTITUTION:In an internal electrode discharge type low temperature plasma generator, a plurality of rod shaped electrodes 1 are arranged in parallel in two rows, for example, and one row is taken as a high frequency power supply input side + and another row is taken as ground side -. A polyvinyl chloride resin record disc 3 is fitted to a shaft 7 at the tip of an arm 6 of the driving device between the rows and it is moved while being rotated until the arm is almost horizontal. Movement is repeated for several seconds-several minutes and transposition is made five times while it.
