Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide the titled two-pack solventless type rust-inhibiting material having excellent workability, rust-inhibiting properties, air-tightness, etc., containing an epoxy resin, an acid anhydride hardener, an amine hardener, a curing accelerator, a blowing agent, a diluent for the epoxy resin and an electrically conductive powder as essential components.
CONSTITUTION: Two components consisting of component A and component B are used as main components. Said component A consists of a liquid epoxy resin (e.g. an epoxy resin obtd. from bisphenol A and epichlorohydrin) and a liquid carboxylic acid anhydride (e.g. hexahydrophthalic anhydride). Said component B consists of a liquid prim. or sec. amino compd. (e.g. ethylenediamine), a curing accelerator (e.g. dimethylbenzylamine) and a blowing agent. A diluent for the epoxy resin, which has MW of 300W4,000 and is nonreactive, and an electrically conductive power (e.g. carbon black or graphite) are blended with the components A and/or B, whereby the titled two-pack solventless type rust-inhibiting material can be obtd.
