Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide the titled composition compounded with a specific amount of magnetic powder, applicable at a low coating temperature, causing little strain by thermal shrinkage, forming a coating film free from cracks and crazings and useful as a magnetic material in electrical or electronic fields. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition can be produced by compounding (A) an epoxy polymer (preferably having a melting point of 65-120 deg.C and an average molecular weight of 350-1,350) with (B) a curing agent (e.g. dicyandiamide) and (C) 50-92pts.wt. of a magnetic powder (e.g. ferrite powder). The amount of the component B is preferably 0.2-0.5pt.wt. per 100pts.wt. of the component A. It is preferable to provide a silane-coupling agent at the interface between the components A and B to obtain powder having excellent adhesivity at the above interface.
