Abstract

PURPOSE: To prepare the title composition having marked electrical radiation-shielding effect, processable into any shape, also of low price, for use in electrical circuit components, electronic parts, antistatic agents, etc. by incorporating ferrophosphorous powder, etc. in an epoxy group-contg. syuthetic resin.
CONSTITUTION: The objective composition can be prepared by incorporating (1) 95-30wt.% (usually 90-60wt.%) of a syuthetic resin having at least two epoxy groups,with (2) 5-70wt.% (usually 10-40wt.%) of at least one powdered substance selected from ferrophosphorous, iron, copper, and carbon, and (3) a curing agent such as of amino type, acid anhydride type. If necessary, fillers, flame-retardants, etc. may be added.
