Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide an epoxy resin compsn. having excellent adhesiveness and a high degree of fusion, by mixing an epoxy resin, a resction product between an epoxy resin and a butadiene-acrylonitrile copolymer, and a nitrile rubber.
CONSTITUTION: An epoxy resin (A), a reaction product (B)[obtd. by the reaction of an epoxy resin (which may be the same as or different from that of component A) with a liquid butadiene-acrylonitrile copolymer having carboxyl groups at both terminals and an MW of 1,000 or higher], and a nitrile rubber (C) are mixed together. When a high-molecular epoxy resin (D) having an MW of 10,000 or higher is further blended, impact strength cam be improved. When an epoxy resin having an MW of lower than 10,000 is used as said epoxy resin D, excellent impact strength can not be obtd. An epoxy resin having an MW of 30,000 or higher, particularly 80,000 or higher is preferred. As the amounts to be blended, 3W40pts.wt. reaction product B, 3W40pts.wt. nitrile rubber C and 0W30pts.wt. high-molecular epoxy resin D are used per 100pts.wt. epoxy resin A.
