Abstract

PURPOSE: The titled tough thermoplastic composition having improved compatibility, obtained by adding a polyetherester amide elasomer to a resin composition consisting of polymide resin and an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer.
CONSTITUTION: 100pts.wt. resin composition consisting of 95W50wt% polyamide resin having a melting point of ≥21°C and 5W50wt% ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer resin and/or its partially saponified copolymer resin (0W80% degree of saponification) is blended with 5W40pts.wt. polyetherester amide elastomer consisting essentially of a polyamide obtained from ≥10C ω-aminocarboxylic acid or lactam used as at least one component comprising the polyamide block. The ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer resin, etc. is dispersed in the polyamide matrix uniformly in the size of ≤1μ.
