Abstract

PURPOSE: An NBR composition that is made by blending a vinyl chloride resin containing a specific amount of gel insoluble in tetrahydrofuran along with NBR, thus showing high ozone resistance over a wide range of blend ratio.
CONSTITUTION: The objective NBR composition comprises (A) 5W95pts.wt. of a vinyl chloride resin consisting of 5W95wt% vinyl chloride gel insoluble in tetrahydrofuran and the remainder soluble in tetrahydrofuran, (B) 95W10pts. of NBR, when necessary, (C) a plasticizer a stabilizer and other additives.
EFFECT: The resultant composition shows high weathering resistance, creep resistance, wearing resistance and high form retention on processing.
