Abstract
PURPOSE:To simplify the winding work of a coil by a method wherein the main insulator of a prescribed thickness is closely wound on the low-voltage winding, a plastic spacer is wound on it at regular intervals in the form of the coil to prevent the looseness of the main insulator and the interval space is used as an impregnation duct. CONSTITUTION:The low-voltage winding 2 is wound on a spool 1, the main insulator 3 of a prescribed thickness is closely wound on it, and the coil-shaped plastic spacer 4 the diameter of which is about 0.2 times as much as that of the main insulator 3 is obliquely applied to it to secure the main insulator. After this, a high- voltage winding 5 fed from the tension reel 6 is wound on the winding 2 that includes the insulator and the spacer, the space formed by the spacer 4 is used as the impregnation duct 7 and the winding is impregnated with resin.
