Abstract

PURPOSE:To make it possible to center a large-sized rotary machine with high precision by providing a function of detecting the parallelism of an emitted laser beam to an axial center. CONSTITUTION:Laser beam 6 from laser oscillator 5 travels staright via beam splitter 12 to reach half-mirror 9, where part of it is reflected as reflected laser beam 11 and the remainder travels straight via half-mirror 9 to strike the 1st solar battery device 8. If emitted laser beam 6 is not in parallel to axial center 7 of circular hole 2, reflected laser beam 11 is not in parallel either and branched laser beam 13 is therefore off the center of the 2nd solar battery device 14, so that this 2nd solar battery device 14 can detect whether emitted laser beam 6 is in parallel to axial center 7 or not.
