Abstract

PURPOSE: To achieve position matching easily and securely on a monitor television set, by providing a modulation means to modulate the visible laser beam, when detecting the position by using visible laser.
CONSTITUTION: A beam position detecting device 10 consists of auxiliary oscillator 11 to continuously oscillate He-Ne laser beam for detecting position, rotating disc 12 provided with slits to modulate the continuous beam thereof, motor 13, television camera 14, and monitor television 15, and the modulation means of laser beam is constituted with the rotating disc 12 and the motor 13. Plural slits 12a are provided on the surface of the rotating disc 12 to chop the laser beam l1 into pulses, so that the detection light l1 inputted into the television camera 14 becomes also a pulse signal. As a result, the spot detection signal of the television camera 14 detects a flicker signal, so that the detection sensitivity may be greatly improved.
