Abstract

PURPOSE: To subject a sewage to filtering treatment efficiently by a centrifugal force by a method wherein a filter cylinder equipped with plural stirring blades and an outer cylinder are attached to a water drainage cylinder and the outer cylinder and the filter cylinder of said water drainage cylinder are rotated against the sewage between both cylinders.

CONSTITUTION: In a cylindrical main body 1, the outer cylinder 31 and the filter cylinder 26 equipped with plural stirring blades are attached concentrically to the water drainage cylinder 12 to form a filtering part 1a and, to a righthand side thereof, a discharge part 1b for a substance mixed in said sewage is also provided. The sewage is introduced into a space between the outer cylinder 31 and the filter cylinder 26 from intake ports 5, 6, 18 according to difference of a pollution degree thereof and the water drainage cylinder 12 is rotated at a high speed to rotate both cylinder 31 and 26 at the same speed against the sewage therebetween. The centrifugal force is acted to the sewage by stirring action of said stirring blades 30 as well as fine air bubbles are generated and, by those actions, particles in said sewage are separated from fine particles to crude particles to discharge said particles from outlets 10, 11 through the discharge part 1b for a substance mixed in said sewage. A supernatant water is passed through the filter cylinder 26 and raised in an inner pipe 13b to be recovered into a discharge box 20.
