Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide the subject process which effectively removes organic matters in secondary treatment water by use of an ultrafiltration film having a common salt removing ratio of more than 2%.
CONSTITUTION: Secondary treated water after biological treatment of waste water is passed through an ultrafiltration film having a salt removing ratio of at least 2%, thereby to remove organic matters in waste water and to obtain reutilizable treated water. Upon this occasion, already existing purification means such as coagulation sedimentation, floatation, filtration and the like are utilized as pretreatments singly or in combination, and thereafter water may be passed through said filtration film. In this manner, organic matters within waste water can be effectively removed, and reproduction of the adsorbent which is required in the case of using the adsorbent is not necessary.
