Abstract

PURPOSE:To easily perform an automatic hand adjustment by a method wherein a driving pulse is counted through a time counting circuit to perform a monitor display by means of digitals and a correspondence between a digital display and a reference time is taken. CONSTITUTION:A time counting circuit C1 counts a reference time through receiving a clock pulse and the time counting content is displayed on a display device DL1. Pulses from a pulse control circuit H enter a ring counter RC and they are converted into driving pulses of three phases through the ring counter RC and then, they pass through a feeding out circuit A and the output signals of the feeding out circuit A drive coils L1-L3 sequentially, thus, a display time of a display unit K is advanced by one second. The driving pulses from the feeding out circuit A are supplied to a time counting circuit C2 through a gate circuit G, then, a time corresponding to the display time of a daughter timepiece S is counted to be displayed on a monitor display device DL2. The time counting contents of time counting circuits C1, C2 are compared in a comparison circuit CM and the pulse control circuit H is controlled with the output of the comparison circuit CM.
