Abstract
PURPOSE:A cylinder having an inclined portion on its periphery inwardly toward the centripetal direction is fitted to a nut bearing surface simultaneously forming a seating ring by putting the cylinder on a concaved place set up on the nut bearing surface, and screwing the nut on the bolt. CONSTITUTION:A cylinder 7 having an inclined portion 8 on its periphery inwardly toward the centripetal direction, and a wall 9 of which the interior periphery is in parallel with the direction of the axis of the nut is constituted, using comparatively hard, elastic and flexible materials such as nylon and polyethylene. The base 10 of the cylinder 7 is fitted into the concaved portion 6 of the nut 1, which is then screwed on the screw 15 of the bolt 13. The thin extreme end 11 of the cylinder 7 is compressed and transformed, thus producing projected portions 11a and 11b outside and inside the diametral direction; an external seal being formed by the projected portion 11a and a female screw portion being formed by the projected portion 11b at the screw portion 15. The holding pressure of the female screw against the screw portion is increased, consequently effective for preventing looseness of sealing, and at the same time the flat portion 23 has a sealing effect.
