EXAMPLE: N-( 3-Mercaptopropanoyl )-L-3-( 3,4-diphenylmethylenedioxyphenyl )-2- methylalanine.
USE: Hypotensor; they have antihypertensive activity.
PREPARATION: A phenylalanine derivative of formula III is acylated with a 3- mercaptopropioic acid derivative (carboxylic active derivative) of formula IV and, when needed, the protecting groups are removed.
