EXAMPLE: Trans-4-guanidinomethylcyclohexanecarboxylic acid 3'-pyridyl ester hydrochloride.
USE: It has excellent protease-inhibiting activity, and useful pharmaceutical activities such as anti-trypsin activity, anti-thrombin activity, etc.
PROCESS: The compound of formula I can be prepared by reacting 4-guanidinomethylcyclohexanecarboxylic acid of formula II or its reactive derivative (e.g. acid chloride) with a compound of formula HO-R.
