Abstract

PURPOSE:To form a cast-out hole free from residue in the inner wall surface, by forming into a specified cast-out hole shape with refractory material, and assembling a core in which specified metal wire is buried, into a mold and pulling out the metal wire after molding. CONSTITUTION:A metal wire 3 of continuous coil form or the like is buried in a core 1 which is formed into a specifed cast-out hole shape with refractory material 2 such as casting sand, etc., and terminals for pulling out 5 are projected from the both ends thereof 6. This core is placed in a vent hole 20 in the mold, and molten metal is poured into this vent hole. After casting, when the metal wire is pulled out of the casting through terminals, the core is broken due to the bent parts 4 of the metal wire and scraped out, so that a cast-out hole 21 free from residue in the inner wall surface may be formed.
