Abstract

PURPOSE: To stabilize the running through the attenuating rush current and/or inverse current by a method wherein the contactless switch in parallel connected with the starting resistor of the motor is turned ON/OFF in accordance with the detected value of the motor main circuit current.
CONSTITUTION: The AC generator G is driven to obtain the specified AC output, by the DC motor M which possesses the starting resistor 4, windings 6∼9, and the contactor 5 for the starting resistor short circuit. The shunt 20 for the current detection is connected to the main circuit of the motor M in such a system and along with this, a contactless switch 21, which is turned ON/OFF by control in accordance with the detected value of the main circuit current, is installed in parallel with the starting resistor 4. When the main circuit current value detected by the shunt 20 is the specified value or more, then, the gate control circuit 22 permits to turn the contactless switch 21 OFF and flow the current into the starting resistor 4, thus, attenuating the overcurrent. Furthermore, when the transmission current is generated, it flows into the starting resistor 4, thus, attenuating the overcurrent.
