Abstract
PURPOSE:To make all phases of exciting currents together to sharply rise to increase starting torque by a method wherein at the starting time the phase, whose excitation is continued from the time of stop lock synchronizing with the phase to be excited, is strongly excited. CONSTITUTION:In case from the state of stop lock wherein a low-voltage current is made to flow through the excited winding LA2 of A phase 1a and the excited winding LB1 of B phase 1b, a pulse motor 1 is to be started, together with the starting signals ST a step pulse SP is put in a chopper control circuit 2 and an exciting circuit 3. When the exciting circuit 3 changes-over the exciting signals with the first step pulse SP, a transistor TR4 wherein the low-voltage current was flowing in the state of stop lock turns ''OFF'' from ''ON'' while the transistor TR3 turns ''ON'' from ''OFF''. Thereby the low-voltage current, which has been flowing through the winding LA2 is interrupted to put the winding LA1 to be excited in the state able to be excited.
