Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce power consumption by increasing simultaneously exciting phases or by widening time width during which each phase is excited rising up of rotation in the driving system for a pulse motor. CONSTITUTION:Four-phase pulse signals are obtained at terminals b1-b4 by feeding a driving signal to a terminal a1. In driving a pulse motor, a small exciting current is acceptable at constant speed rotation compared to the exciting current at rising up of rotation. Therefore, power consumption will increase and so does heating value by supplying each phase of the pulse motor with the above four-phase pulse signals. Therefore, a rotary command signal and a pulse-width change signal are applied to a terminal a2 and a terminal a3 respectively to obtain an output pulse signal from a terminal B1. In this output pulse signal, as the output pulse width becomes wide while receiving the pulse-width change signal, the power consumption at constant speed rotation will be decreased.
