Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent the overshoot of an armature current at transferring from a driving state to a regeneration brake by closing a line switch before a main motor terminal voltage reaches a stringing voltage after sending a control command.
CONSTITUTION: A series circuit consisting of a voltage relay VR to detect a main motor terminal voltage and a protective series resistor VRR is connected to a main circuit consisting of the series circuit of an armature M, a main circuit resistor R and a transition diode TD in parallel. The voltage relay VR is operated when a main motor terminal voltage becomes the predetermined value lower than a stringing voltage and a line switch LS is closed based on the output.
