Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent a pulsating current from flowing into an armature circuit by using an inductive shunt used for power weakening field control as an armature circuit reactor at the time of regenerative braking control.
CONSTITUTION: The inductive shunt 7 is connected in parallel to series field winding 6 at the time of power control, and used as a means to execute weakening field control. Normally the inductive shunt 7 is considered unnecessary at the time of regenerative braking and released from the circuit, so it is connected to the armature 5 together with a ballast resistor 11 in series. For this reason, the pulsating current is prevented from flowing into the armature circuit without providing a reactor separately in the circuit, and the fault oepration of a signal line in addition to the occurrence of jamming to television are prevented.
