Abstract

PURPOSE: To secure the effective dispersion to outside for the heat generated by the electric conduction by providing the metal film for heat radiation to the nearby region of the cylindrical magnetic domain detector, thus preventing the evil effect to be given to the cylindrical domain operation properties.
CONSTITUTION: Metal film 7 for heat radiation using Al-Cu layer for conductor of each function part and others is provided to the whole or part of the intermediate region between major transfer line 2 and cylindrical magnetic domain detector 5 of the cylindrical magnetic domain memory element. As a result, the temperature rises up to just 4 or 5°C even through the current of about 5mA may be flowed to cylindrical magnetic domain detector 5 and dummy detector 6, and the temperature rise is just about 3°C even on line 2. If the thermal contact is secured via bonding between edge part 8 of film 7 and the external substrate, the radiation effect can be increased further. As a result, the allowable amount of the detection current can be increased without giving any evil effect to the cylindrical magnetic domain operation properties, thus enhancing the reliability for the detecting action.
